  2. I do love Hosta. I’ve had something eat a few here and there. I’m guessing deer, but usually they take a whole bed out. Your garden is looking good. 🙂

      The heavy rain and the recent heat have distressed many of the shrubs. Roses have lost all their first bloom. My hydrangeas have sparse blooms – they’re in the same area where I lost the astilbe and buddleia; presumably the same weird winter damage. But the yellow day lilies are blooming continuously!! Happily there is always something that’s flourishing!! (Another life metaphor..?)
