Hey, friend, you’ve got better color than we do. 🙂 Hope the weather is treating you okay. We’ve had rain and a lot of wind all day. I’ll say one thing – the leaves are coming down and doing it fast. 🙂
Mild weather and a few light frosts, but as the front went through today the NW wind started roaring and the temp is dropping by the hour. The sugar maples look good, the oaks brown, so we shall lose a lot of leaves this weekend with 45-50mph gusts! But nothing to complain about yet (apart from rain). At least we don’t get snow before Thanksgiving! Did you get all your chores done, or are you hiding from the rain? Loved your Shaker Village post. We only visited once in 3 years (8m away!!) but found it charming.
Glad you liked the Shaker Village post. I did get all my chores done before the bad weather set in. The only thing I’ve been doing is picking up some branches after the winds go through.

Wow, gorgeous! Our maples were a bust this year, but the beech and oak have made up for it – it’s been lovely this past week, esp. when the sun shines through them like stained glass.
