A string of warm sunny days and now we have an abundance of summer flowers – from annual bougainvillea, petunia, geranium to perennial peony, lily, rose. June is the best month in the garden!
Oh my goodness, it really is a beautiful day in your neighborhood. 🙂 We had rain and more rain the first of last week, and now we are having a couple of days in the 90’s. Crazy, but you are right. The June flowers are looking mighty fine. 🙂
You are right – it’s still very changeable and unsettled here too. We had mid50s this week followed by 80s for three days. At least the ocean keeps us from racing into the 90s in June! But the gardens do look spectacular, and for me there’s the fun of seeing what perennials the previous owner had planted. I have filled in a few gaps myself, and added some annuals, and replanted a neglected bed on the least sunny side of the house. It’s all pretty low key and undemanding – no longer caring for acres!! Thankful for what we have found here, in many ways.

I can see why you get upset if the deer eat your flowers!
